Artist Tori Higa wrote the neatest entry on one of our favorite blogs, Designing Moms, today. She gave readers a glimpse into her creative process by opening up her sketchbooks. It’s fascinating to see her lovely designs on their way to becoming stylish greeting cards.  I was thrilled to see the sketches of one of her designs featured in her Cardstore.com collection (and personally one of my favorites) highlighted in the article!

Will You Be My Bridesmaid?

by Marina on September 24, 2009

We were tickled to see that one of our lovely artists’ bridesmaid cards was recently featured on the Brides.com Wedded Bits blog.  Wedded Bits offers bridal advice and planning tips for the bride-to-be and we love their idea of using Tori Higa’s line of cards to send personalized notes to one’s bridesmaids. What a beautiful way for a bride to honor those special gals in her life.  We couldn’t have said it better ourselves.

Thank You Cards That Make Us Smile

by Tiffany on September 17, 2009

We received one of the nicest thank you cards from Mary Stuart Masterson and Jeremy Davidson.  The two are ‘in the family way’ and enjoyed using our gender-neutral but still adorable pink and blue Tori Higa stationery.  We’re huge fans of classic 80′s movies, so the office agreed receiving the note was ‘some kind of wonderful’!

Celebrities Say Thanks

I’m a huge Arrested Development fan, so I was pleased to receive a note on one of our thank you cards from Jeffrey Tambor and his wife Kasia on their personalized Tori Higa stationery.  The Tambors are looking forward to welcoming twin boys next month and everyone at Cardstore.com wishes them the best of luck!

My First Place

Post image for My First Place

Okay, so it’s not “technically” my first place, because I’m still renting –but after four years of college-style living, it was a much needed upgrade. Together with four girlfriends, all recent graduates, we now have a quirky green house at the top of the hill in Berkeley to call our home. Furnished with hand-me-down furniture and home-made art, we were eager to show off our new address (walking distance to Cheeseboard, the best pizza in the SF Bay), so we ordered these stylish moving announcements from Tori Higa to send to our friends and family. Now to plan our housewarming party!
