With almost a week until Thanksgiving, I find thoughts of decorations, food, and family fun for the night are all I am thinking about! To celebrate this upcoming holiday, today’s Take 2 Tuesday features the stars of the night; turkeys! I love the modern and pretty turkey on this Great Arrow Graphics Thanksgiving card, and think it matches perfectly with this photo of a stunning wild turkey. Hope your week leading up to the holiday is filled with fantastic anticipation!

Make Shamrock Boutonnieres. Legend says that St. Patrick, a fifth-century Christian missionary, used a three-leaf clover to explain the Trinity and the shamrock later became the Irish national emblem. Make your very own paper craft shamrock here.

Bake Shamrock Cupcakes. What’s a better way to ensure that you have a lucky day than with sweets?

Cook Corned Beef with Vegetables. Corned beef and cabbage with turnips, carrots, and boiled potatoes is a traditional Irish meal. It is especially good with freshly baked Irish soda bread.
Grow your own Shamrocks. Yes, it’s fun to make Shamrock art projects–but it’s even better to grow the real thing.

Celebrate at a parade. Find the nearest St. Patrick’s Day event for you and your family.
