Betsy from february 13 creative wrote the most clever DIY post yesterday on the Designing Moms blog. The post outlines how to make a Halloween costume for any ‘wild things’ you have living in your house. The directions are relatively simple, and with the new Wild Things movie coming out this week, I can’t think of a more timely costume. Whether your kids are going to be wild things, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, or spark plugs, be sure to enter photos of their costume in the Cardstore.com’s Silliest Halloween Costume Contest, who knows you might end up winning a prize!

The Cardstore.com office is abuzz with excitement about our Silliest Costume Contest which kicks off tomorrow at our Twitter Kick-off Party (to join in, just search #CSSilly on Twitter beginning Tues. 10/13 at 5PM PT). As everyone around the office combs through old photos and gets their submissions ready, I came across an inspirational article from Parents Magazine entitled ‘Best Pregnant Halloween Costumes‘. Let’s face it, when you’re in the family way, your ‘go-to’ slimming black cat outfit or french maid costume probably won’t cut it this year. So if you’ve got a bump, flaunt it like these creative mamas have!
