I can’t seem to turn the corner without hearing someone talking about Kim Kardashian’s wedding this Saturday! Will she wear something other than a white dress? What theatrics are bound to play out? It’s like the royal wedding all over again!
Working for Cardstore, I’m particularly interested in the Kardashian wedding invitation (show below). You can tell so much about a wedding just from the invitation. It’s got a classic vibe with the black and white–mirroring the mandatory black and white dress code for guests–but it’s definitely ornate as well; there’s nothing simple when it comes to the Kardashians! Those side panels have a lot of detail going on, especially. I expect to be the actual wedding to be similarly formal and extravagant–but I guess you didn’t need to examine the Kardashian wedding invitation to guess that!

Maybe you don’t have a Kardashian-sized wedding budget, I know I didn’t! But check out some of our favorite Kardashian-esque wedding invitations available on Cardstore:

The star of Zelda Wisdom’s hysterical everyday cards, the English bulldog Zelda, has yet another impressive accomplishment to add to her resumé. The Heathman Hotel in Portland, Oregon revealed a bronze sculpture of Zelda on May 21 to celebrate the hotel’s pet-friendly tradition. The sculpture stands at the entrance to the hotel and features Zelda wearing the Heathman Hotel’s famous beefeater costume, along with a dog bowl that will always be full of water for visiting dogs to use. Zelda isn’t new to this kind of publicity, having previously been seen on Oprah, Good Morning America, CNN Live Today, and serving as the “spokesdog” of Delta Society Pet Partners®, an international program dedicated to the human-animal healing bond. Zelda is certainly a busy pooch! Below is a picture from the unveiling of the sculpture (what a perfect likeness!), along with some of our favorite Zelda Wisdom cards found at Cardstore.com. Enjoy!

Actresses Amy Ryan and Poppy Montgomery, singer Drew Lacey, and celebrity wife Natalie Hanson recently sent out thank you notes from our kids’ stationery collection. They all received gift sets provided by Jewels and Pinstripes, which featured our stationery. Ryan used one of our most popular sets, the Pink and Gray Elephant stationery, to thank Jewels and Pinstripes for their gift to her new baby girl. Others used our Light Blue Sand Dollar Thank You Card by Tori Higa, the Superhero Boy Thanks by Persnickety Pear, and the Flying Biplane Thanks by Amy Adele. We’re always so delighted to hear when our celebrity fans send out greeting cards!
