Thanks For Spreading Hope!

The team would like to thank everyone that sent a Hope greeting card during The Week of Hope!  The program exceeded our wildest expectations, as over 10,000 Hope cards were sent from to people around the world.  We also appreciated hearing who the cards were being sent to. Here are some of our favorite responses to our question ‘Who are you sending your Hope Card to?’ that were posted to our blog and facebook page:

Sending a card to my 12 yr old daughter.  Her sister (other daughter – 10yrs old) passed away a couple of weeks ago, after battling with cancer. We both miss her. Just the other day, she told me she missed her little sister – missed bugging her! Which brought a smile to both our faces.

I’m sending my hope card to my niece (4.5yrs) and nephew (2yrs) to let them know that even though I might be in Iraq, I’m still thinking of them and sending them my love across all the miles.

I am sending a hope card to my sister. It will be from my 15 yr old autistic niece, thanking her for all she does for her. My niece is non-verbal and this card will be a great way for her to show her love and appreciation.

I am going to be sending this to my contact in Afghanistan- Capt Doug Ball. He is responsible for the Hope of 400 members of the 759th MP Bn . He is my rock and my go to guy when I send care packages to the troops. He can always have a little extra help from anywhere. Even a Hope Card!

I’m sending this card of hope to my son, Julian Jacob (aka”J.J.”), who turns 4 on Sept. 12th. When he was 18 months old he was diagnosed with a very rare kind of cancer & were told his survival of such would be even more rare. Shortly after, he began chemotherapy & 11 months later he beat the unbeatable. His strength…remarkable, the gift of hope…priceless!

I sent hope card to my oldest son and his wife as they are having a hard time financially after he got laid off from work and had to take another job at about 1/2 the pay. He considers himself lucky to have been able to find anything at all.

Stay tuned… will announce the winners of the Hope Giveaway Wed., Sept. 9th on the Cardstyle Blog!

I sent my 26 yr old nephew who fractured his vertebrae in a car accident. He sure needs all the love, hope and support. By having this card sent to him was the best I can do for him since I am in IL and he in FL.

I sent a card to my mom and she totally loved it. I wanted to let her know that even on those days its seems her life might be insignificant or not so explosive, those people who are part of her life, couldn’t do it without her. Even the little things make a big difference in other peoples lives. Thank you for letting me share with my mom through you wonderful creations.
