One delightful thing about snowflakes is that, by their very nature, no two ever look alike. To me, that uniqueness and variation makes this the perfect kid-friendly winter craft!
What you’ll need:
- Popsicle sticks (You can find them sold as “craft sticks” at your local craft store.)
- Paint (It helps to pick a limited color palette, so that no matter which ones your child chooses, they’ll all look look nice together.)
- Hot glue gun
- Twine or string for hanging
Paint your Popsicle sticks. Let dry completely. (We did two thin coats on each side).
Arrange them into snowflake shapes (you can use the scissors to carefully cut some of the Popsicle sticks in half for more variation).
Use the hot glue gun to glue the sticks into place.
Glue a piece of twine to the top and hang them on the wall or ceiling.
Enjoy your indoor snowflakes!
