Today is day 3 of our backyard gone glam series, and it’s definitely the most mouth-watering! Check out these awesome summer party food ideas that can dress up your outdoor party.
The one thing you can guarantee your party guests will paying attention to is your food and drink. Here are some of the best ways to impress your guests!
Create a festive tablescape
Setting a table specifically for appetizers, the main course, drinks, or dessert is a great way to allow guests to have easy access to your party treats, but it’s also an opportunity to dress up your space!
Play with your color palette, different sized plates or bowls, and try setting things on a box or crate for varying height.
Serve finger foods
If your outdoor party is standing room only, consider serving finger foods, food on sticks, or dishes in small containers that guests can snack on throughout your party.
Themes can help here too. If you’re doing a camping theme, or even a BBQ where you can keep the grill going, how fun would a s’mores station be?!
Set up a drink station
Having a fun drink setup will definitely dress up your outdoor party.
You can try buckets, bath tubs, drink dispensers, pre-made drinks on ice, or a even a whole table devoted to drinks—and don’t forget cute straws, garnishes, and drink stirrers to make it that much more fun :)
Add some signage
Signs are a fun way to tell guests what’s on the menu, but they’re also good for any special party instructions, or just to add a little fun to your party!
Tomorrow I’ll be sharing my favorite ways to glam up that backyard party with the extra details!
